Does E-AmAre support e-Prescribing and EPCS?
Yes. E-AmAre includes full e-Prescribing with Electronic Prescribing for Controlled Substances (EPCS) support. Prescribers authenticate with two-factor authentication (2FA) for controlled substance prescriptions, and all prescriptions are checked against drug interaction databases and the patient's medication history before submission.
What can patients and families do through the patient portal?
The patient portal provides self-service intake forms, secure messaging with care teams, appointment scheduling, and access to treatment plan summaries. With proper consent, family members can also access a view of their loved one's progress and communicate with staff — all controlled through 42 CFR Part 2 consent workflows.
